Challenge

The National Fundraising Awards is the core of every charity. Excellent fundraising is the essential ingredient that enables us to make the world a better place. These are the only awards that recognise and reward fundraising excellence and best practice in the charity sector.

Over the years the National Fundraising Awards brand has become disparate and was beginning to look tired. It needed to be reviewed, pulled back together and refreshed to help the brand cut through in the coming years.

Solution

Annex worked with National Fundraising Awards to evolve the brand and bring it further in line with the organisational brand. The new identity has been designed to set the brand apart from other similar looking competitor brands and to refresh the existing brand, without completely overhauling the style, remaining faithful to the work done to date in establishing the awards.

Original brand elements were retained with some refinement and subtle changes introduced. Once the identity had been finalised, Annex worked together with National Fundraising Awards to develop comprehensive brand and identity guidelines. The feedback and statistics received since the new guidelines were introduced has been impressive - brand assets have been used a lot more internally and a lot more people are engaging with the new brand.
